Boca Raton - Florida Loc 1 Boca Raton Outage

Cogent is acing loss o connectivity in Boca Raton datacenter due to Fire, below is current update from their status page https://ecogent.cogentco.com/network-status

"Customers connected to our network located at 5050 CONFERENCE WAY NORTH in the BOCA RATON, FL area may be experiencing loss of network connectivity. There is a fire at this building and all electricity has been turned off. The fire department is on scene. There is no ETR at this time The master case is HD304225140."

    USA NY 10G - Cogent Cogent NY Down affecting 10GB Network NY server

    Major outage in Cogent ISP in NY, affecting streaming NY and 10GB New york Locations

  • Servers are back up

  • Cogent has informed us that our rack has not been directly impacted by the fire and is expected to be powered back on within the next few hours, with a maximum timeframe of 24 hours.

  • Cogent just announced that they are facing fire in one of their NY locations on their network status page https://ecogent.cogentco.com/network-status we are trying to get to someone there to confirm if our rack is affected

    "Customers located at 1250 Broadway New York City are experiencing a loss of network connectivity. This is due to a fire in the building with significant water damage. Once the removal and cleanup process in the closets is completed, providers can start re-installing their infrastructure as needed. Coordination between landlord and tenant to schedule the lateral cabling installation to follow vertical infrastructure installation. The current project plan is approximately 90 days or 11/01/2024. The ticket number"
